New York City

Our stay at NYC was absolutely amazing! With our uncle as our cool tour guide, we covered tons of Manhattan! (we walked about 10-12 miles one day!) Everything was so fun and awesome to see! The city surely never sleeps! I was in heaven and took about 3,300 photographs over our trip from NY to Washington D.C. I am so excited to go back to NYC for part of the summer and apprentice a professional photographer and my Uncle as he manages a theater. It will be an amazing experience!
I love photography so much and I am so grateful to everyone who has inspired me! I love shooting away and capturing the world in my own perspective creating awesome pictures that last a lifetime.
A special thank you to my family and Marie who I work for! I love them! Also a great thank you to Sarah and Steve Spottswood for encouraging and helping me choose my new camera; the Nikon D300! It totally rocks! I am so happy and grateful! I love how photographers share the same passion; to create and capture the world in a different way, a new look. We initiate the calling and that makes all the difference ;)

Arlington Cemetery

Arlington Cemetery is such a special and sacred burial ground. It is amazing and humbling to see and whiteness. Every day there are 23 different burials. God Bless American Soldiers.

Arlington Cemetary

We walked together to the farthest point on the map. It took us even to a deeper serene ground; the latest burials of 2000-2008. I will never forget how I felt, how all of us felt. Pictures, special trinkets and flowers covered the headstones into distant rolling hills. There where no graves behind us, just dates as recent as April 2008. Tears rolled down from my eyes. How appreciative we must be! Soldiers not only fight for their country, they fight for whats right. They put their own life aside and battle against the greatest enemy with every breath they have. They found our country and no wonder they are proud to be in the spots they are. They make our opinions free, our actions heard. Thank-you United States soldiers, you are never forgotten.

Washington D.C.

Here are some neat shots of the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam Wall.
God Bless all who have served for our country, their families, and all the current soldiers today. Freedom is NOT free.

We were in D.C. for the annual "Cherry Blossom Festival." All the trees were so gorgeous (given to the US from Japan) which called for great photo ops!

So cool to see everything!

Niagra Falls

This was the coldest day of my life!! Being committed photographers, Roger and I were always the last ones to the car, capturing as many shots as we could :) It was a powerful feeling standing 6 feet from one of the 7 wonders of the world. Nature sure is awesome! The whole experience was overwhelming. It was so cool...until i couldn't feel my fingers. It seriously was freezing! By then, I questioned my sanity, but stayed out for 10 minutes longer. ;) I tell ya, our vacations in winter! Got to love em'!
